This Quotation Estimate is issued by MedResearch Nigeria Ltd. in response to the formal request for professional engagement of a qualified Medical Researcher to support ongoing clinical and epidemiological studies within the Federal Capital Territory. The scope of services outlined herein is specifically tailored to the operational requirements of research institutions, hospitals, and public health agencies located in Nigeria Abuja and its immediate environs. This document provides a comprehensive, itemized breakdown of all anticipated costs associated with the recruitment, deployment, and sustained engagement of a senior Medical Researcher for a period of twelve (12) months.
The Medical Researcher engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities within the Nigeria Abuja research ecosystem:
- Design, develop, and implement clinical trial protocols in compliance with the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC) guidelines applicable in Nigeria Abuja.
- Conduct field data collection, patient recruitment, and longitudinal follow-up across tertiary hospitals including the National Hospital Abuja, University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, and Federal Medical Centre, Abuja.
- Perform statistical analysis, literature reviews, and peer-reviewed manuscript preparation for submission to international and local medical journals.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies such as the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Ministry of Health, FCT, to ensure full compliance with all research regulations in Nigeria Abuja.
- Supervise and mentor junior research assistants, laboratory technicians, and graduate students assigned to the project team.
- Prepare quarterly progress reports and present findings to the sponsoring institution's board of directors.
- Manage research budgets, procure laboratory consumables, and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Nigerian public procurement standards.

Amount in words: Twenty-Three Million, One Hundred and Thirty-Three Thousand Naira Only. All prices are denominated in Nigerian Naira and are subject to the prevailing exchange rate at the time of contract execution.
- Mobilization Advance (30%): NGN 6,939,900 – payable within seven (7) working days of contract signature to initiate recruitment and procurement.
- Quarterly Progress Payments (20% each): NGN 4,626,600 per quarter – payable upon submission and approval of quarterly progress reports by the client's technical review committee.
- Final Settlement (10%): NGN 2,313,300 – payable upon successful completion of the 12-month engagement, submission of the final research report, and clearance of all regulatory obligations in Nigeria Abuja.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all prices are subject to revision based on inflationary adjustments and market conditions in Nigeria Abuja.
- The Medical Researcher shall be engaged on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with availability for fieldwork on weekends as project demands require.
- All research data collected shall remain the intellectual property of the sponsoring institution. The Medical Researcher and supporting staff shall sign non-disclosure agreements prior to commencing work.
- MedResearch Nigeria Ltd. shall bear all statutory employer contributions including pension (PENS), National Health Insurance (NHIS), and National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) as mandated by Nigerian law.
- Any variation in scope exceeding 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value shall require a formal amendment signed by both parties.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, with the seat of arbitration in Abuja, FCT.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
