This Quotation Estimate outlines the comprehensive professional services to be rendered by a qualified Medical Researcher engaged under this contract. The Medical Researcher shall be responsible for the following duties and deliverables within the operational boundaries of Pakistan Karachi:
- Design and execution of clinical and epidemiological research protocols aligned with the National Regulatory Authority (NRA) of Pakistan and the Ethics Committee guidelines of the University of Karachi.
- Recruitment, screening, and enrollment of a minimum of 1,200 participants from diverse neighborhoods across Pakistan Karachi, including Clifton, DHA, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and Korangi.
- Conducting structured interviews, administering validated questionnaires, and collecting biological samples (blood, urine) in compliance with the Pakistan Drug Regulatory Authority (PDRA) standards.
- Data entry, cleaning, and statistical analysis using SPSS, R, and Stata software; preparation of interim and final research reports.
- Supervision and training of a team of four (4) junior research assistants and two (2) field data collectors based in Pakistan Karachi.
- Coordination with local hospitals, primary health centers, and community health workers throughout the Pakistan Karachi region to facilitate participant access.
- Preparation of at least two (2) peer-reviewed manuscript submissions to international journals and one (1) presentation at a national medical conference held in Karachi.
- Maintenance of all research records, informed consent documents, and regulatory filings in accordance with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) regulations.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Pakistan Karachi.
- The Medical Researcher shall maintain full-time availability during standard working hours (09:00–17:00, Monday to Friday) at the designated research facility in Clifton, Karachi, with flexibility for fieldwork on weekends as required by the study protocol.
- All research activities shall strictly adhere to the ethical guidelines of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the regulatory framework of the National Regulatory Authority (NRA), Pakistan. Non-compliance may result in immediate termination of this engagement.
- Intellectual property generated during the course of this project shall be jointly owned by the Client and MedResearch Associates (Pvt.) Ltd., with publication rights shared as per a separate IP agreement to be executed prior to commencement.
- Either party may terminate this contract with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of early termination, the Medical Researcher and associated staff shall be compensated for all work completed up to the termination date, as reflected in this Quotation Estimate.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan. The jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan Karachi shall be exclusive.
- MedResearch Associates (Pvt.) Ltd. shall maintain professional indemnity insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all personnel engaged in this project throughout the duration of the contract in Pakistan Karachi.
