The Medical Researcher proposed under this Quotation Estimate holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru, and a PhD in Epidemiology from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. The candidate possesses a minimum of twelve (12) years of post-doctoral experience in clinical research, with a published record exceeding forty (40) peer-reviewed articles in international journals. 4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing for the Medical Researcher services and associated costs in Peru Lima may be subject to revision based on market conditions and exchange rate fluctuations.
4.2 Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three (3) equal installments: 40% upon contract execution, 35% upon completion of the fieldwork phase in Peru Lima, and 25% upon delivery of the final research report. All payments shall be processed in Peruvian Soles (PEN) via bank transfer to the account designated by the Andean Biomedical Research Consortium.
4.3 Regulatory Compliance: The Medical Researcher and all supporting personnel shall adhere strictly to the Peruvian Health Research Law (Ley Nº 30599), the regulations of the Peruvian Ministry of Health, and the ethical guidelines of the CEI Peru Lima. Any deviation from these standards shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Quotation Estimate engagement.
4.4 Intellectual Property: All data, findings, and publications generated by the Medical Researcher under this Quotation Estimate shall be jointly owned by the contracting institution and the Andean Biomedical Research Consortium, as stipulated in the definitive service contract to be executed in Peru Lima.
4.5 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to public health emergencies, natural disasters affecting the Peru Lima region, or government-mandated restrictions on research activities.
4.6 Confidentiality: All patient data and proprietary research methodologies handled by the Medical Researcher in Peru Lima shall be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the Peruvian Personal Data Protection Law (Ley Nº 29733).
