This Quotation Estimate is issued by Barcelona Biomedical Research Institute (BBRI) to formally propose the engagement of a senior Medical Researcher for the Neurodegenerative Disease Research Programme. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After 15 July 2025, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing.
- The Medical Researcher shall be engaged under a Spanish "Contrato de Trabajo por Obra o Servicio Determinado" in accordance with the Spanish Workers' Statute (Estatuto de los Trabajadores, Real Decreto Legislativo 2/2015).
- All research activities will be physically conducted in Spain Barcelona. Remote work is not permitted for laboratory-based procedures. The Medical Researcher must maintain a valid Spanish work permit or EU free-movement registration.
- Intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by BBRI and ICIM, as stipulated in the separate IP Addendum to be signed alongside this Quotation Estimate.
- BBRI shall comply with all applicable Spanish data protection laws, including the Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and the EU GDPR, when handling personal data of clinical trial participants in Spain Barcelona.
- Any change in scope exceeding 10% of the total estimated cost will require a formal amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved by the competent courts of Barcelona, Spain, in accordance with Spanish civil and commercial law.
- BBRI reserves the right to substitute the assigned Medical Researcher with a professional of equivalent or superior qualifications, subject to prior written notification to the client.
