This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Apex Medical Research Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd to the Colombo National Institute of Health Sciences for the engagement of a qualified Medical Researcher to conduct a comprehensive epidemiological and clinical research programme within the Sri Lanka Colombo metropolitan region. The scope of work outlined in this document encompasses all professional services, fieldwork, laboratory coordination, data analysis, and reporting activities required to fulfil the research objectives specified in the client's Request for Proposal (RFP) dated 02 June 2025.
The Medical Researcher to be deployed under this engagement holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a postgraduate specialisation in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and possesses a minimum of twelve (12) years of hands-on research experience in tropical and infectious disease studies. The researcher will be based in Sri Lanka Colombo for the entire duration of the project, ensuring continuous on-site supervision, community engagement, and real-time data collection across the designated study sites in Colombo District and the surrounding Western Province.

- 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement.
- 40% milestone payment upon completion of field data collection (end of Month 4).
- 30% final payment upon delivery of the completed research report and all supplementary data sets.
- All payments to be made via bank transfer to the account of Apex Medical Research Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd, Commercial Bank, Colombo Branch, Sri Lanka.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in operational costs, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements in Sri Lanka Colombo.
- The Medical Researcher shall adhere to all ethical guidelines set by the National Ethics Committee of Sri Lanka and the institutional review boards of participating hospitals in Colombo.
- All research data collected in Sri Lanka Colombo shall remain the intellectual property of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The service provider shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of LKR 50,000,000 for the duration of the engagement.
- Any scope changes or additional research objectives beyond those described in this document shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate and mutual written consent.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka, with the seat of arbitration in Colombo.
