All monetary values are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT registration number: GB 123 4567 89. This Quotation Estimate is subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed beyond this period, a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting any changes in the Medical Researcher's availability or market rates in Manchester, United Kingdom, will be issued.
2. Payment Terms: Payment is due within thirty (30) days of invoice date. A 25% deposit is required upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Medical Researcher's schedule. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in monthly instalments aligned with project milestones.
3. Intellectual Property: All research findings, data analyses, and publications arising from this engagement shall be jointly owned by the Medical Researcher and the North Manchester Health Research Consortium, as stipulated in a separate Intellectual Property Agreement to be executed prior to commencement of work.
4. Confidentiality: The Medical Researcher agrees to maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with UK data protection legislation. All patient data handled during this project will be anonymised and stored in compliance with NHS Digital security standards and the United Kingdom's General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
5. Cancellation: Either party may terminate this engagement with fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of cancellation by the client, fees for work completed up to the date of termination shall be payable in full.
6. Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
7. Insurance and Indemnity: The Medical Researcher maintains professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of £5,000,000, valid throughout the United Kingdom, and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
