This Quotation Estimate is issued by Zimbabwe Biomedical Research & Consulting (Pvt) Ltd in response to the request for professional services in the field of medical research within the Zimbabwe Harare metropolitan area. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemized financial estimate for the engagement of a qualified Medical Researcher to conduct, supervise, and deliver a multi-phase community health surveillance study across selected wards in Zimbabwe Harare. All costs presented herein are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in Section 7 of this Quotation Estimate.
The Medical Researcher engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be responsible for the following deliverables and activities within the Zimbabwe Harare operational zone:

The Medical Researcher proposed for this engagement holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Zimbabwe, Harare, and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. The Medical Researcher has previously led three (3) nationally funded studies in Zimbabwe Harare, including a 2022 malaria incidence survey and a 2023 non-communicable disease prevalence study. The Medical Researcher is a registered member of the Zimbabwe Medical and Dental Council and holds a valid research permit from the ZNRC. All qualifications and credentials are available for verification upon request by the client.
The overall project duration is twelve (12) months, commencing upon written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. Key milestones include: Protocol approval (Month 1), Ethical clearance (Month 2), Fieldwork initiation in Zimbabwe Harare (Month 3), Mid-term progress review (Month 6), Data analysis (Months 9–10), and Final report submission (Month 12). The Medical Researcher shall submit monthly progress reports to the client's designated project officer in Harare.
Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) tranches: 30% upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of fieldwork (Month 6), and 30% upon delivery of the final research report. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Zimbabwe Biomedical Research & Consulting (Pvt) Ltd, Stanbic Bank, Harare Branch. Invoices will be issued in USD and are payable within thirty (30) days of receipt.
This Quotation Estimate assumes stable access to all 14 designated wards in Zimbabwe Harare, availability of laboratory facilities at Parirenyatwa General Hospital, and timely issuance of ethical clearance by the ZNRC. Costs for international travel, publication fees, and any scope changes beyond the original protocol are excluded from this estimate and will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate if required.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates are subject to revision due to currency fluctuations and operational cost changes in Zimbabwe Harare.
- The Medical Researcher shall comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe, including the Research Act [Chapter 16:01] and data protection regulations.
- All intellectual property generated under this engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and the Medical Researcher, as stipulated in the separate Service Agreement.
- Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In such cases, payment shall be made pro-rata for services rendered up to the termination date.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties and countersigned.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Harare, Zimbabwe, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Zimbabwe.
