- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing.
- All services will be performed by a qualified Meteorologist holding a valid licence issued under the British Columbia Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Act, or as a recognized atmospheric science consultant registered with the Meteorological Service of Canada.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the mid-project deliverables, and 30% upon final report delivery and acceptance.
- All work will be conducted in compliance with the Privacy Act (Canada), the Personal Information Protection Act (BC), and applicable municipal bylaws within the City of Vancouver.
- The Meteorologist engaged under this agreement shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $5,000,000 CAD, naming the client as an additional insured party.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond 10% of the originally estimated hours will require a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate signed by both parties.
- All data, reports, and deliverables produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. The Meteorologist retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Canada Vancouver in accordance with the Arbitration Act (BC).
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to severe weather events, natural disasters, or government-mandated closures affecting the Canada Vancouver area, shall extend the project timeline proportionally without penalty to either party.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. The engagement of the Meteorologist for services in the Canada Vancouver region shall commence upon execution of a formal Service Agreement derived from this document.
