This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request from the Shanghai Municipal Infrastructure Development Group for the engagement of a senior Meteorologist to provide comprehensive atmospheric analysis, forecasting, and climate risk advisory services specifically tailored to the unique meteorological conditions of China Shanghai. The services outlined below cover a twelve-month contract period commencing 1 September 2025 and concluding 31 August 2026.
The Meteorologist engaged under this estimate shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences or Meteorology, possess at least ten (10) years of professional experience in operational forecasting, and demonstrate proven expertise in the subtropical monsoon climate patterns characteristic of the Yangtze River Delta region. The Meteorologist will be based in our Pudong office in China Shanghai and will report directly to the client's Engineering Operations Directorate.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions and resource availability in China Shanghai.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon contract execution, 40% upon completion of the first six-month milestone, and 30% upon final delivery of the Annual Meteorological Impact Report.
- All invoices shall be denominated in Chinese Yuan (CNY) and payable via bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at 0.05% per calendar day.
- The Meteorologist engaged under this estimate shall comply with all regulations set forth by the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and the Shanghai Municipal Meteorological Bureau, including data reporting obligations and professional licensing requirements.
- Confidentiality: All meteorological data, forecasts, and risk assessments produced under this engagement are the exclusive property of the client. The Meteorologist shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to commencing work.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from natural disasters, government mandates, or events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to typhoons affecting the China Shanghai coastal region.
- Dispute resolution shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China and adjudicated by the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC).
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the formal Service Agreement in writing.
