This Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the request for a qualified Meteorologist to provide comprehensive atmospheric monitoring, forecasting, and climate advisory services within the greater DR Congo Kinshasa metropolitan area and surrounding provinces. The Meteorologist will be responsible for daily weather forecasting, severe weather warning issuance, hydrological data interpretation, and technical support to local agricultural and transportation sectors operating in DR Congo Kinshasa.
The engagement covers a twelve-month period commencing 1 September 2025 and concluding 31 August 2026. The Meteorologist will be based at the primary observation station in Gombe, Kinshasa, with periodic field deployments to the Likasi, Matadi, and Mbandaka sub-stations as required by seasonal weather patterns across DR Congo Kinshasa.

4. Terms & Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After 15 July 2025, pricing may be revised to reflect current market conditions in DR Congo Kinshasa.
- Payment Terms: 30% advance payment upon contract signature; 40% upon completion of the first six-month period; 30% upon final delivery and acceptance of the annual climate report. All payments shall be made in US Dollars via bank transfer to the account specified in the contract annex.
- Scope Changes: Any modification to the scope of Meteorologist services, additional field sites, or extended deployment beyond the DR Congo Kinshasa metropolitan area will require a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate and a revised cost schedule.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance resulting from extreme weather events, civil unrest, government-mandated closures, or other events beyond reasonable control in DR Congo Kinshasa.
- Confidentiality: All meteorological data, proprietary forecasting models, and client-specific reports generated under this engagement remain the intellectual property of the contracting party. The Meteorologist shall not disclose operational data to third parties without written consent.
- Compliance: The Meteorologist shall comply with all applicable regulations of the National Meteorological and Hydrological Service of DR Congo, as well as international standards set by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Kinshasa, DR Congo, in accordance with the civil code of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
5. Acceptance & Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Meteorologist services in DR Congo Kinshasa and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. This document does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
