Terms and Conditions
  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond the validity period requires re-confirmation of pricing.
  • All services shall be performed by a certified Meteorologist holding a minimum of a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences from an accredited Egyptian or international university, with at least five (5) years of professional experience in maritime and coastal meteorology.
  • The Meteorologist shall report directly to the Alexandria Port Authority Operations Manager and shall comply with all safety regulations applicable to port facilities in Egypt Alexandria.
  • Payment terms: 30% advance upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of the first six (6) months of service, and 30% upon successful completion of the full twelve-month engagement period.
  • Payments shall be made in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) via bank transfer to the account specified in the contract annex. All amounts are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • The Meteorologist shall provide a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours' written notice for any scheduled absence. Emergency weather events (Category 3 or above) shall trigger immediate remote advisory at no additional cost.
  • Confidentiality: All meteorological data, operational forecasts, and port-specific information generated during the engagement shall remain the exclusive property of the Alexandria Port Authority. The Meteorologist shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to commencing work.
  • This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties. The terms herein are subject to final negotiation and legal review.
  • Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather events, government-mandated closures, or civil unrest affecting Egypt Alexandria.
  • Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. In the event of unresolved disagreement, matters shall be referred to the competent courts in Alexandria, Egypt.
Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the scope, pricing, and terms outlined above for the engagement of a Meteorologist to serve the operational needs of the Alexandria Port Authority in Egypt Alexandria.
