The Meteorologist will be responsible for conducting on-site meteorological assessments, producing detailed weather forecasting reports, performing climate risk analyses, and advising the client on environmental conditions that may affect operations, infrastructure planning, agricultural activities, or construction projects in and around Kazakhstan Almaty.
The scope of this Quotation Estimate covers a twelve-month service period commencing on the date of contract execution. All rates presented herein are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate in Kazakhstan and are denominated in Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT) unless otherwise stated.
The Meteorologist engaged under this Quotation Estimate will hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences or Meteorology from an accredited institution and will possess no fewer than eight (8) years of professional experience in operational meteorology, with at least three (3) years of fieldwork conducted in the Central Asian region, including the mountainous terrain surrounding Kazakhstan Almaty. The Meteorologist will be fluent in both Kazakh and Russian, with working proficiency in English, to ensure seamless communication with all stakeholders in the Kazakhstan Almaty area.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in quarterly installments, with the first payment due within fifteen (15) business days of the contract signing date. Subsequent payments are due on the 1st of each quarter. All payments shall be remitted via bank transfer to the account designated by Altai Atmospheric Sciences LLP, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 0.5% per calendar day of delay.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Kazakhstan Almaty.
- The Meteorologist shall comply with all applicable regulations of the National Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Meteorology and Hydrometeorology.
- All data, reports, and forecasts produced by the Meteorologist under this engagement shall remain the intellectual property of the client upon full payment.
- Either party may terminate this agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In such an event, the client shall be invoiced for all services rendered up to the termination date as per this Quotation Estimate.
- The Meteorologist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of 10,000,000 KZT for the duration of the contract.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to extreme weather events in Kazakhstan Almaty, earthquakes, or government-mandated shutdowns, shall suspend obligations without penalty.
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Center of the Astana International Financial Centre.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Meteorologist in Kazakhstan Almaty.
