- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on operational cost adjustments.
- Payment terms: 40% advance upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of the monsoon season (end of September), and 20% upon final annual performance review.
- All services shall be rendered by a qualified Meteorologist holding a minimum of a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences from a recognized Pakistani or international university, with at least eight (8) years of professional experience in operational meteorology.
- The Meteorologist shall maintain full compliance with the standards set by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) guidelines applicable to the Pakistan Islamabad region.
- All data, forecasts, and reports generated under this engagement shall remain the intellectual property of the contracting authority in Islamabad, Pakistan, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to extreme weather events that render the Meteorologist unable to perform duties, shall be addressed through mutual consultation without penalty to either party.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Islamabad, Pakistan, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Pakistan.
- Taxes: All amounts are exclusive of applicable Sales Tax (18%) and Withholding Tax as per the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regulations in Pakistan.
By signing below, the contracting authority acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial breakdown outlined herein for the engagement of the Meteorologist in Pakistan Islamabad.
