- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all pricing is subject to revision based on current market rates for Meteorologist professional services in the United States Chicago area.
- Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of each monthly invoice. A 1.5% late-payment surcharge will apply to balances outstanding beyond the due date, in accordance with Illinois commercial code provisions applicable in United States Chicago.
- The Meteorologist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 per occurrence, naming the client as an additional insured party.
- All forecasts, analyses, and advisory products produced by the Meteorologist are provided as professional opinions based on available meteorological data. They do not constitute guarantees of specific weather outcomes. The Meteorologist shall exercise the highest standard of care consistent with current atmospheric science practice in the United States Chicago region.
- Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be invoiced for all services rendered through the termination date as outlined in this Quotation Estimate.
- All data, reports, and intellectual property generated specifically for the client under this Quotation Estimate shall remain the property of the client. The Meteorologist retains the right to reference aggregate, anonymized data in academic publications.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and the federal laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in United States Chicago, Cook County, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
- Force majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to extraordinary weather events, natural disasters, or governmental actions beyond reasonable control, provided that the Meteorologist shall make reasonable efforts to continue remote advisory services during such events.
