The Midwife(s) engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

• Safe delivery assistance in both clinical settings (hospitals, health centres) and home-based birthing environments where appropriate and safe.
• Post-natal care for mothers and newborns, including breastfeeding support, newborn screening, and follow-up visits within the first 42 days after delivery.
• Family planning counselling and reproductive health education for women in the Kabul community.
• Referral coordination with obstetricians and paediatricians at tertiary hospitals in Kabul for high-risk pregnancies or complications.
• Maintenance of accurate patient records, birth registration documentation, and reporting to the Ministry of Public Health, Afghanistan.
• Participation in community health outreach programmes targeting underserved areas within and around Kabul city.

• Advance Payment: 25% of the total Quotation Estimate amount (USD 30,752.50) due within 10 business days of contract signature.
• Monthly Installments: The remaining 75% shall be paid in equal monthly instalments of USD 7,713.13, due on the 5th of each calendar month.
• Payment Method: Bank transfer to the account specified in the contract annexure. All payments are non-refundable once Midwife services have commenced.
• Late Payment: A penalty of 1.5% per month shall apply to any overdue amounts beyond a 15-day grace period.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised due to market conditions in Afghanistan.
• All Midwife professionals engaged under this Quotation Estimate must hold valid licences issued by the Ministry of Public Health, Afghanistan, and must present proof of certification prior to commencing duties in Kabul.
• The Client shall provide a safe and adequate working environment for the Midwife team, including access to clean water, electricity, and basic medical infrastructure at the designated service locations in Kabul.
• Either party may terminate the contract with 30 days written notice. In the event of early termination, the Client shall be liable for all Midwife services rendered up to the termination date.
• The Midwife service provider shall maintain professional liability insurance covering all Midwife personnel operating in Afghanistan, Kabul, with a minimum coverage of USD 500,000 per incident.
• All patient data and medical records handled by the Midwife team shall be kept strictly confidential in accordance with Afghan health data protection regulations.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have signed and stamped the formal Service Agreement document.
• Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to the competent courts in Kabul, Afghanistan.
