Scope of Midwife Services in China Shanghai

This Quotation Estimate covers the full spectrum of Midwife care as defined under the Shanghai Municipal Maternal and Child Health Service Standards. Our Midwife team, all holding valid practice licenses issued by the Shanghai Health Commission, will provide continuous, evidence-based care from the second trimester through the postnatal period. All services are delivered within the administrative boundaries of China Shanghai, including the municipal districts of Pudong, Huangpu, Jing'an, Xuhui, and Changning. In the event that a client relocates to a neighboring province, a supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued to reflect travel and logistical adjustments.

Payment Terms

Deposit: 30% of the total Quotation Estimate amount (¥13,833) is due upon acceptance of this document to secure the assigned Midwife and schedule.
Second Installment: 40% (¥18,444) is due at the 32nd week of gestation, prior to the home birth Midwife attendance.
Final Payment: The remaining 30% (¥13,833) is due within 7 calendar days following the completion of all postnatal Midwife sessions.
Accepted Methods: Bank transfer (ICBC, China Construction Bank, or Bank of China), Alipay, or WeChat Pay. All transactions are processed in Chinese Yuan (CNY) within China Shanghai.
Late Payment: A surcharge of 1.5% per month will apply to outstanding balances beyond the due date.

Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After expiry, pricing may be revised based on current Midwife availability and market conditions in China Shanghai.
The assigned Midwife will be a registered professional with a minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in obstetric and neonatal care, as verified by the Shanghai Medical Association.
Should an emergency hospital transfer become necessary, the Midwife will coordinate with the nearest Level III hospital in China Shanghai. Hospital fees, surgical costs, and inpatient charges are not included in this Quotation Estimate and will be the client's responsibility.
Cancellation by the client more than 14 days before the scheduled birth date will result in a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.
All Midwife services are subject to the client's informed consent and adherence to the personalized care plan established during the initial consultation.
Confidentiality of all medical records and personal data is guaranteed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of a specific birth outcome. The Midwife will exercise all reasonable professional judgment to ensure the safety of both mother and newborn.

Acceptance

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Midwife services in China Shanghai. The engagement shall commence upon receipt of the initial deposit. Both parties agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
