Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, the Midwife reserves the right to revise pricing based on current French healthcare fee schedules and operational costs in the France Lyon area.

2. All services described herein will be performed by the named Midwife, Madame Sophie Martin, or by a qualified substitute Sages-Femme of equivalent standing, should the primary Midwife be unavailable due to illness or emergency. The client will be notified in writing of any substitution at least 48 hours in advance.

3. Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate is due as follows: a 20% deposit (€ 672.00) is required upon acceptance of this estimate to secure the Midwife's schedule; the remaining balance is payable in three equal monthly installments during the second and third trimesters, with the final installment due within fourteen (14) days following the postnatal period.

4. The Midwife operating in France Lyon is bound by the French Code de la Santé Publique and the professional ethics code of the Ordre des Sages-Femmes. All client information is protected under French data protection regulations (RGPD / GDPR).

5. In the event of a medical emergency during labor or delivery, the Midwife will initiate immediate transfer to the nearest appropriate hospital facility in the Lyon metropolitan area. Any additional hospital fees, specialist consultations, or surgical interventions are not included in this Quotation Estimate and will be billed separately by the relevant healthcare institution.

6. Cancellation of scheduled Midwife appointments must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to a 50% fee of the scheduled session price. No-shows will be charged the full session fee.

7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and countersigned by both parties. Upon signature, it becomes a service agreement governed by French civil law, with any disputes to be resolved by the competent courts of Lyon, France.
