- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all prices listed herein are subject to revision based on current market rates and regulatory adjustments in Germany Frankfurt.
- All Midwife services described in this document are to be performed by a state-licensed Midwife (Hebamme) registered with the Frankfurt am Main Health Department and the German Midwives Association. The assigned Midwife will be confirmed in writing no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the first scheduled appointment.
- Payment for services rendered under this Quotation Estimate is due within fourteen (14) days of invoice issuance. A 1.5% monthly late-payment interest fee applies to overdue balances in accordance with German commercial law (HGB § 288).
- Where the client holds statutory health insurance (GKV) or private health insurance (PKV) in Germany, the applicable portions of the Midwife services will be billed directly to the insurer. The client is responsible for any co-payments (Zuzahlung) or services not covered by the insurance policy.
- In the event of a medical emergency during a home birth attended by our Midwife in Germany Frankfurt, immediate transfer to the nearest qualified hospital (e.g., Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt or Klinikum Bad Homburg) will be arranged. Additional hospital costs are not included in this Quotation Estimate and will be invoiced separately.
- Cancellation of scheduled Midwife appointments must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will be charged at 50% of the listed session fee.
- All personal health data collected during the provision of Midwife services in Germany Frankfurt is processed in strict compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Data will be retained for the statutory period of ten (10) years.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and returned by both parties. The Midwife practice reserves the right to decline service if the client's medical condition exceeds the scope of midwifery care and requires obstetric (physician-led) management.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, with the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse.
