1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, prices may be subject to revision based on updated cost structures within the Italy Milan healthcare market.
2. Payment Schedule: A deposit of 20% (€1,184.62) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining balance shall be payable in three equal instalments: 30% at the end of the second trimester, 30% at the end of the third trimester, and the final 20% within fourteen (14) days following the postnatal period. Payments may be made via bank transfer (IBAN: IT60 X054 2811 1000 0001 2345 678) or by certified cheque.
3. Cancellation Policy: Should the client need to cancel the Midwife engagement, a written notice of at least fourteen (14) days is required. Cancellations made within fourteen days of a scheduled session will incur a 50% fee for that particular session. Full cancellation prior to the second trimester will result in a 10% administrative fee on the total Quotation Estimate value.
4. Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers standard Midwife care as defined by Italian national guidelines. Any additional medical interventions, specialist referrals (obstetrician, neonatologist, anaesthesiologist), or hospitalisation costs are not included and will be quoted separately. The Midwife will coordinate with the attending physician at the designated hospital in Italy Milan (e.g., Ospedale Niguarda, Ospedale San Raffaele, or Ospedale Sacco) as required.
5. Insurance and Liability: Studio Ostetrico Milano maintains full professional liability insurance (RC Professionale) with a coverage of €5,000,000 per claim, as mandated by the Italian Midwifery Professional Order. 6.
