2. Purpose of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is prepared by Shanti Maternal Care Services Pvt. Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of professional Midwife services to be delivered in Nepal Kathmandu and its surrounding areas. The purpose of this document is to outline the scope of midwifery care, associated costs, and the terms under which our certified Midwife will attend to the client throughout the third trimester, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery period. All services described herein comply with the standards set by the Nepal Nursing and Midwifery Council (NNMC) and the Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal.

3. Scope of Midwife Services

The Midwife assigned to this engagement, Ms. Laxmi Gurung (NNMC License No. 2020-XXXX), is a registered and licensed midwife with over twelve years of clinical experience in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care. The services to be provided in Nepal Kathmandu include the following:

  • Antenatal Care Visits: A minimum of six (6) scheduled home visits and two (2) hospital-based consultations between the 28th and 40th week of pregnancy, including fetal heart rate monitoring, blood pressure assessment, urine analysis, and nutritional counseling.
  • Labor and Delivery Attendance: Full-time presence of the Midwife during the onset of labor, active labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period (first two hours), whether the delivery takes place at home or at a designated hospital in Kathmandu.
  • Postpartum Care: Three (3) follow-up visits within the first two weeks after delivery to assess maternal recovery, breastfeeding support, newborn assessment, and perineal wound care.
  • Emergency Response: Availability of the Midwife on a 24/7 emergency basis throughout the pregnancy period, with a guaranteed response time of no more than forty-five (45) minutes anywhere within the Kathmandu Valley.
  • Health Education: One-on-one sessions on prenatal nutrition, safe labor practices, newborn care, and family planning, tailored to the cultural context of Nepal Kathmandu.

5. Payment Terms

  • A 30% advance payment (NPR 29,866) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to confirm the booking of the Midwife.
  • 40% (NPR 39,821) is payable at the time of delivery or within 48 hours of the delivery event.
  • The remaining 30% (NPR 29,866) is due within seven (7) days after the final postpartum visit.
  • Payment may be made via bank transfer (Nabil Bank, A/C: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), mobile banking (eSewa, Khalti), or cash receipt at our Kathmandu office.

6. Terms and Conditions

  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, rates may be revised based on prevailing market conditions in Nepal Kathmandu.
  • The Midwife reserves the right to refer the client to a hospital or specialist physician if the clinical condition exceeds the scope of midwifery practice, in accordance with NNMC guidelines.
  • Cancellation by the client after the advance payment has been made will result in a 50% non-refundable charge on the advance amount.
  • All services are subject to the professional judgment of the Midwife and applicable laws of Nepal, including the Child Birth and Child Care Act, 2074 (2017).
  • Confidentiality of all patient records is maintained in compliance with Nepal's data protection regulations.
  • This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until signed and stamped by both parties.

7. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges that they have read and understood this Quotation Estimate for Midwife services in Nepal Kathmandu and agree to the terms, conditions, and payment schedule outlined above.
