- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 NZD is required upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure your Midwife booking in the New Zealand Auckland region.
- Antenatal Payments: Antenatal Midwife visit fees are payable within 7 days of each visit via bank transfer, credit card, or EFTPOS.
- Birth Payment: The Home Birth Midwife attendance fee (Items 03 and 04) is payable within 14 days following the birth.
- Postnatal Payments: Postnatal Midwife visit fees are payable within 7 days of each visit.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of Midwife services more than 4 weeks before the estimated due date will result in a full refund of the deposit. Cancellation within 4 weeks will forfeit 50% of the deposit. Cancellation within 1 week will forfeit the full deposit.
- Quotation Estimate Validity: This Quotation Estimate remains valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Midwife service fees in New Zealand Auckland are subject to annual review by the Midwives Council of New Zealand.
- Scope of Practice: The Midwife services described in this Quotation Estimate are provided in accordance with the Midwives Council of New Zealand scope of practice. In the event of a medical emergency or complication beyond the Midwife's scope, immediate referral to a medical practitioner or hospital will occur, and any additional costs will be communicated transparently.
- Privacy: All client information is handled in strict accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Midwife records are maintained for a minimum of 25 years as per New Zealand health record-keeping standards.
The Midwife services outlined in this Quotation Estimate will be delivered by a Midwife who holds a current Midwifery Practising Certificate issued by the Midwives Council of New Zealand. The primary Midwife has over 12 years of experience providing Midwife care in the New Zealand Auckland region, including over 400 home births. All Midwife staff are registered with the Midwives Council of New Zealand and maintain current professional indemnity insurance through the Midwives Council of New Zealand indemnity scheme.
