- 1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Pricing is subject to review in accordance with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand fee guidelines and any changes to New Zealand Wellington regional healthcare regulations.
- 2. Payment Schedule: A deposit of 20% of the total Quotation Estimate amount is due upon acceptance. The remaining balance is payable in three instalments: 30% at 28 weeks gestation, 30% at 36 weeks gestation, and the final 20% within fourteen (14) days following the postnatal period.
- 3. Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel your Midwife booking, a 48-hour notice is required for scheduled appointments. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a fee of $100.00 per missed appointment. Full cancellation of the midwifery package prior to 20 weeks gestation will result in forfeiture of the deposit only.
- 4. Scope of Practice: All Midwife services are delivered in accordance with the scope of practice defined by the Midwifery Council of New Zealand. In the event that your pregnancy is classified as high-risk, your Midwife will coordinate with obstetric specialists at Wellington Hospital or Capital & Coast District Health Board facilities, and additional specialist fees are not included in this Quotation Estimate.
- 5. Travel and Location: This Quotation Estimate covers Midwife services delivered within the New Zealand Wellington metropolitan area, including Te Aro, Kelburn, Karori, Porirua, and Lower Hutt. Travel to locations outside this radius may incur an additional travel surcharge of $0.80 per kilometre.
- 6. Cultural Safety: Our Midwife team in New Zealand Wellington is committed to providing culturally safe care. We welcome and accommodate Māori, Pasifika, and diverse cultural practices throughout the midwifery journey. Please inform your Midwife of any specific cultural or spiritual requirements during your initial consultation.
