Note: The above Quotation Estimate is a fixed-price package. Should any additional Midwife interventions be required beyond the scope listed (for example, extended postnatal support, caesarean recovery visits, or specialist referral coordination within the United Kingdom Manchester health network), a supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued prior to any additional work being undertaken. All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable under current United Kingdom tax legislation.
The Midwife named in this Quotation Estimate is fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and holds current professional indemnity insurance with a limit of not less than £5,000,000, as required for private midwifery practice in the United Kingdom. All care delivered in Manchester will adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct, the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) standards, and the local United Kingdom Manchester Integrated Care Board (ICB) protocols. In the event of any obstetric emergency, the Midwife will initiate immediate transfer to the nearest appropriate United Kingdom Manchester obstetric unit (Royal Manchester Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, or Wythenshawe Hospital) in accordance with the established emergency pathway.
- A deposit of 25% (£1,187.50) of the total Quotation Estimate is due upon acceptance of this document to secure your Midwife booking in Manchester.
- The remaining 75% (£3,562.50) is payable in three equal instalments: 25% at 28 weeks gestation, 25% at 36 weeks gestation, and the final 25% within 14 days of the postnatal period concluding.
- Payment may be made by bank transfer (BACS), cheque, or secure online payment. Details will be provided upon acceptance.
- A 10% cancellation fee applies if the Midwife booking is cancelled with less than 4 weeks' notice. No fee applies for cancellations made more than 4 weeks in advance.
- Emergency call-out fees (Ref 08) are invoiced separately within 7 days of the call-out event.
This Quotation Estimate for Midwife services in the United Kingdom Manchester area is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue (14 June 2025 to 14 July 2025). Should the Quotation Estimate expire without acceptance, a revised document reflecting any updated fee structures or availability will be issued. To accept this Quotation Estimate, please sign and return the copy below within the validity period and remit the deposit as specified.
- This Quotation Estimate is a private arrangement and does not replace or duplicate NHS-funded Midwife services provided by the United Kingdom Manchester Integrated Care Board. Clients may hold NHS and private midwifery care concurrently where clinically appropriate.
- The Midwife reserves the right to refer the client to a hospital-based obstetric team at any stage if clinical circumstances warrant, and such referral does not constitute a breach of this Quotation Estimate.
- All personal and medical data collected in connection with this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent Midwife care will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom Manchester region.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until the deposit has been received and the signed acceptance has been returned to Manchester Maternal & Midwifery Care Ltd.
