The Military Officer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a minimum rank of Major (or equivalent) in the Australian Defence Force (retired or active reserve), possess a current National Police Check, a valid Australian Security Industry Registry (ASIR) Class 4 Security Manager licence, and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of operational service experience. The officer will be based in the Australia Sydney region and will report directly to the Client's Chief Security Officer.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability of the specified Military Officer are subject to reconfirmation.
2. Payment terms: 50% of the total contract value is due upon execution of the Service Agreement; the remaining 50% shall be invoiced monthly in arrears, payable within fourteen (14) business days of invoice date.
3. The Military Officer shall comply with all applicable Australian and New South Wales legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and the Security Services Act 2010 (NSW).
4. All services rendered in the Australia Sydney area shall be conducted in accordance with the Australian Defence Force Code of Conduct and the ethical standards of the Australian Security Industry Organisation (ASIO) clearance requirements where applicable.
5. The Client acknowledges that the Military Officer operates as an independent contractor under this engagement and is not an employee of Defence & Security Solutions Pty Ltd for the purposes of this Quotation Estimate.
6. Any variation to the scope of services outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement of the additional work.
7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
8. Confidentiality: All information exchanged in connection with this Quotation Estimate and any subsequent engagement shall be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with Australian privacy legislation.
9. Dispute resolution shall be governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes shall be referred to mediation under the Civil Procedure Act 2005 (NSW) before commencing litigation in the courts of Australia Sydney.
