4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate remains valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability of the Musician are subject to reconfirmation and potential revision.
4.2 Payment Schedule: A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total amount, amounting to $2,854.31 CAD, is due within seven (7) business days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining balance of $2,854.31 CAD shall be paid within fourteen (14) days following the completion of the event in Canada Montreal.
4.3 Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by the client more than thirty (30) days prior to the event date will result in forfeiture of the deposit only. Cancellation between thirty (30) and fourteen (14) days prior to the event will incur a charge of seventy-five percent (75%) of the total Quotation Estimate amount. Cancellation within fourteen (14) days of the event date will result in full payment of the total amount as stated in this document.
4.4 Performance Guarantee: The Musician guarantees punctual arrival at the venue in Canada Montreal and professional performance in accordance with the agreed-upon set list. In the event of unforeseen illness or emergency, the Musician shall make every reasonable effort to provide a qualified substitute of equivalent caliber, subject to the client's approval.
4.5 Intellectual Property: All original compositions performed by the Musician remain the intellectual property of the performer. The client is granted a one-time license to record the live performance for internal corporate use only. Any public distribution or commercial use of recordings requires a separate written agreement.
4.6 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and the resulting engagement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Civil Code of Quebec and the applicable laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada Montreal. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation in the city of Montreal before proceeding to the competent courts.
