Scope of Services – Musician Engagement

This Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the formal request submitted by the Guangzhou International Cultural Festival Committee for the professional engagement of a Musician to perform as the lead soloist and ensemble director for the 2025 Guangzhou Autumn Music Gala. The Musician shall be responsible for delivering a full orchestral and solo performance programme at the Guangzhou Opera House, located in the heart of China Guangzhou. The engagement encompasses pre-event rehearsals, sound-check sessions, the main performance, and a post-event press appearance. All services are to be rendered in accordance with the cultural and regulatory standards applicable to performing arts events in the People's Republic of China, specifically within the jurisdiction of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.

Payment Terms

• 50% Advance Payment (¥ 78,387.00) due within 10 business days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, to be remitted via bank transfer to the account of Guangzhou Harmony Arts & Entertainment Co., Ltd., ICBC Guangzhou Tianhe Branch, Account No. 4402 2600 0000 1234 567.
• 40% Milestone Payment (¥ 62,709.60) due upon completion of all rehearsal sessions and prior to the main performance date.
• 10% Final Payment (¥ 15,677.40) due within 7 business days following the successful conclusion of the event and all post-event obligations.
• All payments are to be made in Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY). International wire transfers shall bear all intermediary bank charges on the sender's side.

Terms & Conditions

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to currency fluctuation, availability of the Musician, or changes in regulatory requirements in China Guangzhou.
• The Musician's engagement is contingent upon the successful issuance of a valid work permit (Z-visa) and a performance license from the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. Should either document be delayed or denied, the parties shall negotiate in good faith regarding rescheduling or cancellation without penalty.
• The Musician shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, including but not limited to the Regulations on the Administration of Commercial Performances (2020 revision) and local Guangzhou municipal performance ordinances.
• Intellectual property rights to any original compositions performed by the Musician during the event shall remain with the Musician. The Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to record and broadcast the performance for archival and promotional purposes within the territory of China Guangzhou and the PRC.
• Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, epidemics, or changes in public health policy affecting event gatherings in Guangzhou.
• Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the Guangzhou International Arbitration Center (GAC) for binding arbitration under its rules.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the advance payment has been received in full.

Acceptance & Authorization

By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for the Musician engagement in China Guangzhou and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. The undersigned authorizes Guangzhou Harmony Arts & Entertainment Co., Ltd. to proceed with booking, visa processing, and logistical arrangements for the Musician.
