Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: 30% deposit upon execution of the contract, 40% upon completion of all fieldwork in Australia Sydney, and the remaining 30% within 30 days of delivery of the final Oceanographer technical report. All invoices are payable in Australian Dollars via electronic funds transfer to the Oceanographer Pty Ltd account. Late payments will incur interest at the rate of 2% per month as permitted under the Australian Consumer Law.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, Oceanographer Pty Ltd reserves the right to revise pricing due to fluctuating fuel costs, vessel availability, or regulatory changes in Australia Sydney.
All oceanographic data, models, and reports produced under this engagement shall remain the intellectual property of Oceanographer Pty Ltd until full payment is received. Upon final settlement, the Harbour Infrastructure Authority shall receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the data for the stated project purpose.
Oceanographer Pty Ltd shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance (minimum AUD 10,000,000) and public liability insurance throughout the duration of the project in Australia Sydney.
Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties. Variations exceeding 15% of the total Quotation Estimate value will require a revised Quotation Estimate to be issued.
Oceanographer Pty Ltd shall comply with all applicable Australian and New South Wales environmental legislation, including the Protection of the Marine Environment (Prevention of Pollution from Ships) Act 1998.
Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Australia Sydney in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act 2005 (NSW), failing which the matter shall be referred to the courts of New South Wales.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the deposit is received.
