4. Delivery and Deployment in China Guangzhou
The Oceanographer shall be delivered to the designated berth at GSI Port, China Guangzhou, no later than 120 calendar days from the date of contract execution. All oceanographic instrumentation will be pre-installed and calibrated prior to arrival. Upon delivery, a joint commissioning team comprising the supplier's engineers and the Guangzhou Maritime Research Institute's technical staff will conduct a 14-day sea trial programme in the waters immediately adjacent to China Guangzhou. The Oceanographer will be registered with the CMSA and issued a Certificate of Fitness for oceanographic research operations in the South China Sea.
5. Terms and Conditions
This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable Chinese Value Added Tax (VAT) and import duties, which shall be borne by the purchaser. The Oceanographer and all associated equipment are subject to the supplier's standard warranty of twenty-four (24) months from the date of successful commissioning in China Guangzhou. Any modifications to the scope of this Quotation Estimate must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to implementation. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
Important Notes:- This Quotation Estimate does not include ongoing fuel, crew salaries, or port dues for the Oceanographer during operational periods in China Guangzhou.
