- 40% Advance Payment: ETB 9,305,800.00 upon signing of the purchase order and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- 40% on Delivery: ETB 9,305,800.00 upon arrival and physical inspection of the Oceanographer equipment at the IWER receiving warehouse in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
- 20% on Commissioning: ETB 4,652,900.00 upon successful installation, calibration, and handover of the complete Oceanographer system at the Ethiopia Addis Ababa site.
- All payments shall be made in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) via bank transfer to GeoMarine Scientific Instruments & Solutions PLC, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Branch: Bole, Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
- Manufacturing and pre-shipment calibration of the Oceanographer system: 8–10 weeks from order confirmation.
- International shipping to Bole International Airport, Ethiopia Addis Ababa: 3–4 weeks (sea freight via Djibouti port).
- Customs clearance and local transport within Ethiopia Addis Ababa: 5–7 working days.
- On-site installation, integration, and commissioning: 10 working days at the Ethiopia Addis Ababa facility.
- Staff training and final acceptance: 5 working days.
- Total estimated project duration: 20–24 weeks from order placement.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision after the validity period due to currency fluctuation and supplier cost changes.
- All Oceanographer instruments are new, factory-sealed, and carry a minimum 24-month manufacturer warranty from the date of commissioning in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
- GeoMarine Scientific Instruments & Solutions PLC shall be responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes associated with the delivery of the Oceanographer system to Ethiopia Addis Ababa, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The Oceanographer data software license is non-transferable and restricted to use at the IWER campus in Ethiopia Addis Ababa and its approved field stations.
- Any changes to the scope of this Quotation Estimate must be documented in a formal change order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to the competent courts of Ethiopia Addis Ababa in accordance with Ethiopian commercial law.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to port closures at Djibouti, political instability, or natural disasters affecting the Ethiopia Addis Ababa region, shall extend delivery timelines proportionally without penalty to either party.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, pricing, and conditions outlined herein for the supply and installation of the Oceanographer system in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
