This Quotation Estimate is issued by the Mediterranean Marine Sciences Consortium in response to the formal request for professional marine scientific services in the waters surrounding France Marseille. Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: 30% upon contract signature, 40% upon completion of fieldwork and data collection in France Marseille, and 30% upon delivery and acceptance of the final report by the client. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Consortium's account at Crédit Agricole Méditerranée, Marseille. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under French commercial law (Code de commerce, Article L441-10).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all prices are subject to revision based on current market rates and exchange fluctuations.
- The Oceanographer and support team shall comply with all applicable French environmental regulations, maritime safety codes, and EU directives governing marine research activities in the territorial waters of France Marseille.
- All data collected, processed, and reported under this engagement shall remain the intellectual property of the client (Mairie de Marseille) upon full payment. The Consortium retains the right to publish anonymized scientific findings in peer-reviewed journals with prior written consent.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to severe Mediterranean weather conditions, port closures, or government-mandated restrictions, shall extend the project timeline proportionally without additional cost to either party.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond the parameters described in this Quotation Estimate shall require a formal written amendment signed by both parties before execution.
- Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through the competent courts of Marseille, France, in accordance with French law.
