This Quotation Estimate is formally submitted to the Department of Marine and Freshwater Sciences at the University of Nairobi, located in Kenya Nairobi, for the comprehensive supply, installation, calibration, and commissioning of a state-of-the-art Oceanographer research and data analysis system. This Quotation Estimate reflects all costs associated with procurement, logistics, installation, and post-deployment support, ensuring full compliance with the Republic of Kenya's public procurement regulations and the specific technical standards mandated by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
The Oceanographer system proposed in this Quotation Estimate includes the following core components:

This Quotation Estimate stipulates the following payment schedule:
40% upon execution of the purchase order and confirmation of the Oceanographer system configuration.
40% upon successful delivery, installation, and calibration of the Oceanographer equipment at the designated facility in Kenya Nairobi.
20% upon completion of the Oceanographer training programme and final acceptance sign-off by the Department of Marine and Freshwater Sciences.
All payments shall be made in Kenyan Shillings (KES) via bank transfer to the account details specified in the accompanying invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month, in accordance with Kenyan commercial law.
Upon receipt of the approved Quotation Estimate and signed purchase order, the Oceanographer system shall be delivered to the University of Nairobi campus in Kenya Nairobi within a maximum of twelve (12) weeks. Installation, calibration, and commissioning activities shall be completed within an additional two (2) weeks. The Oceanographer training programme shall be scheduled within the first month following successful commissioning, with all sessions conducted on-site in Kenya Nairobi.
This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. All prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings and are subject to adjustment in the event of significant fluctuations in the exchange rate or changes in applicable Kenyan import duties and taxes.
The Oceanographer system is warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of commissioning. The three-year technical support contract ensures that all Oceanographer hardware and software components receive priority maintenance and updates throughout the warranty period.
All Oceanographer data generated during the research period shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the University of Nairobi, Kenya Nairobi, in accordance with the terms of the software licence agreement.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties and countersigned by an authorised representative of the University of Nairobi.
