The Oceanographer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and deliverables in and around Malaysia Kuala Lumpur:

4.1. A non-refundable advance payment of thirty percent (30%) of the total Quotation Estimate value, amounting to MYR 324,226.80, shall be remitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the client's written acceptance of this document.

4.2. The remaining seventy percent (70%) shall be payable in two equal monthly instalments of MYR 378,264.60 each, due on the 1st of the third and sixth month of the engagement period.

4.3. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Marine & Oceanographic Consulting Services Sdn. Bhd., Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Account No. 0123-4567-8901, SWIFT: BIMBMYKL.

4.4. Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 1.5% per month, calculated from the due date until the date of actual receipt.

5.1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision without prior notice.

5.2. The Oceanographer assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Oceanography, Marine Science, or a closely related discipline, with no fewer than ten (10) years of professional field experience in Southeast Asian marine environments.

5.3. All fieldwork operations in the waters adjacent to Malaysia Kuala Lumpur shall be conducted in strict compliance with the Fisheries Act 1985, the Environmental Quality Act 1974, and all applicable regulations of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
