This Quotation Estimate is submitted by AquaScience Professional Services Ltd. in response to the request for specialized Oceanographer services to be deployed and executed within Uganda Kampala and the broader Lake Victoria Basin. The scope of work encompasses comprehensive hydrographic surveying, water quality monitoring, limnological and oceanographic research, environmental impact assessment, and capacity-building training for local research institutions.
Our team of certified Oceanographer professionals will conduct a twelve-month engagement covering the following deliverables: quarterly bathymetric surveys of the northern basin of Lake Victoria; continuous monitoring of dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and nutrient loading at twenty-four (24) designated stations; seasonal algal bloom forecasting; and the production of a final technical report aligned with the Uganda National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) reporting standards. All field operations will be coordinated from our operational base in Uganda Kampala, specifically from the Kampala Water Research Station on Plot 14, Kololo.

This Quotation Estimate proposes the following milestone-based payment structure, payable within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice issuance to the bank account designated by AquaScience Professional Services Ltd., Kampala, Uganda:
- Milestone 1 – Mobilization (30%): UGX 164,886,120 – Due upon contract signature and commencement of the Oceanographer team deployment in Uganda Kampala.
- Milestone 2 – Mid-Project (40%): UGX 219,848,160 – Due upon completion of the second quarterly survey and submission of the interim progress report.
- Milestone 3 – Final Delivery (30%): UGX 164,886,120 – Due upon acceptance of the final technical report, data handover, and completion of all capacity-building workshops.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all pricing is subject to revision based on prevailing exchange rates, fuel costs, and equipment availability in Uganda Kampala.
- All Oceanographer personnel assigned to this project shall comply with the Uganda National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) regulations, the Fisheries Act (Cap. 157), and the Water Resources Management Act (Cap. 152).
- The client shall provide necessary permits for vessel operations on Lake Victoria and access to designated monitoring stations. Failure to secure permits within the agreed timeline shall result in a proportional extension of the project duration at no additional cost to the client.
- Intellectual property and all raw data generated by the Oceanographer team shall be jointly owned by AquaScience Professional Services Ltd. and the client, with full digital copies delivered in open formats (CSV, GeoTIFF, NetCDF).
- Any change in scope exceeding ten percent (10%) of the original Quotation Estimate value shall require a written change order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Uganda Kampala in accordance with the Arbitration Act (Cap. 72) of the Laws of Uganda.
- AquaScience Professional Services Ltd. shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than UGX 500,000,000 for the duration of the project.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of Oceanographer services in Uganda Kampala and the Lake Victoria Basin.
