Thank you for your request for a formal Quotation Estimate covering the supply, calibration, and on-site installation of the Oceanographer multi-parameter hydrographic monitoring system for deployment at the Aral Sea research station and the Amu Darya river monitoring network in Uzbekistan Tashkent. This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in accordance with your technical specifications dated 28 May 2025 and reflects the most competitive pricing available for the Oceanographer platform and its associated instrumentation.
1. Scope of Supply – Oceanographer System
The Oceanographer system is a fully integrated, modular hydrographic and water-quality monitoring platform designed for continuous in-situ measurement of temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, pH, conductivity, and current velocity. Although Uzbekistan Tashkent is a landlocked region, the Oceanographer platform is specifically adapted for large inland water bodies, river systems, and residual lake environments such as those found in the Aral Sea basin. 2. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision after the expiry date due to currency fluctuations and component cost changes.
- Payment Terms: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 50% upon shipment and provision of Bill of Lading; 10% upon successful commissioning and sign-off at the Uzbekistan Tashkent installation site. All payments in EUR via international wire transfer to the account specified on our proforma invoice.
- Delivery Schedule: The complete Oceanographer system shall be delivered to the Institute of Hydrology, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, within forty-five (45) calendar days from receipt of the advance payment. On-site installation and calibration shall be completed within ten (10) working days of delivery.
- Warranty: All Oceanographer hardware components carry a 24-month warranty from the date of commissioning. The software license is valid for five (5) years. Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling, extreme environmental events beyond rated specifications, or unauthorized modifications.
- Intellectual Property: The Oceanographer software, firmware, and proprietary sensor algorithms remain the intellectual property of DeepSea Instruments & Research Solutions Ltd. The client is granted a non-transferable, site-specific license for use at the designated Uzbekistan Tashkent research facilities.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, customs delays at the Uzbekistan border, or geopolitical disruptions affecting the overland transport corridor to Uzbekistan Tashkent.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Disputes shall be resolved by arbitration in The Hague, Netherlands, under the rules of the ICC.
- Acceptance: This Quotation Estimate becomes a binding agreement upon written acceptance by both parties. The client's signature below constitutes acceptance of all terms, specifications, and pricing outlined herein for the Oceanographer system deployment in Uzbekistan Tashkent.
