This Quotation Estimate covers the complete bilateral cataract surgical pathway as recommended by our Ophthalmologist based on the clinical findings of your initial examination. The premium Toric Intraocular Lens (IOL) is selected to address your concurrent astigmatism of 1.75 D in both eyes. All surgical procedures will be performed at our dedicated day-care surgical suite located in New Delhi, India, equipped with state-of-the-art phacoemulsification machines, femtosecond laser-assisted options (available at an additional INR 8,000 per eye if the patient opts for laser-assisted capsulotomy), and laminar airflow operating theatres.
The Ophthalmologist in charge, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Malhotra, holds over 22 years of clinical experience and has performed more than 15,000 successful cataract surgeries. He is a Fellow of the Indian College of Ophthalmologists (FICO) and a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), New Delhi chapter. All procedures comply with the standards set by the National Health Authority (NHA) and the Delhi Medical Council.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision after the validity period due to changes in pharmaceutical costs, IOL pricing, or government tax regulations in India, New Delhi.
- A 50% advance payment (INR 61,980) is required to confirm the surgical schedule. The remaining balance is due on the day of discharge from the surgical suite.
- Payment may be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or cash at our New Delhi office. Corporate and insurance claims (including Ayushman Bharat, CGHS, and private health insurers) are processed at our front desk; the patient is responsible for any co-payment or non-covered items.
- The Ophthalmologist reserves the right to modify the surgical plan intra-operatively if unforeseen anatomical or pathological findings necessitate a change in technique. Any additional costs arising from such modifications will be communicated to the patient or their authorized representative before the procedure concludes.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include hospitalization beyond the standard 4-hour day-care observation period. If the patient requires overnight admission due to a medical complication, additional charges as per the hospital tariff in New Delhi, India, will apply.
- All personal data and medical records are handled in strict accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable in India.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
