4. Scope of the Optometrist Engagement
The Optometrist services outlined in this Quotation Estimate encompass a full diagnostic and corrective workflow. Each employee will undergo a minimum 45-minute session conducted by a registered Optometrist holding a valid licence from the Sudanese Ministry of Health. The examination protocol includes manifest and subjective refraction, automated keratometry, slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, and digital fundus photography. Any employee identified with a refractive error exceeding 0.50 dioptres, signs of early glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, or other ocular pathology will be referred for further specialist ophthalmological evaluation at a partner hospital in Sudan Khartoum at no additional diagnostic cost to the client.
All corrective lenses will be dispensed by the same Optometrist team to ensure continuity of care. Frame selection will be conducted in a dedicated fitting room, and a 30-day post-dispensing follow-up will be scheduled to verify visual comfort, pupillary alignment, and lens centration.
5. Payment Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision upon expiry due to fluctuations in the Sudanese Pound exchange rate and import costs.
- Payment shall be made in Sudanese Pounds (SDG) via bank transfer to Nile Vision Optometry Centre, Bank of Khartoum, Account No. 0045-8821-3376. A 50% advance payment is required to confirm the booking; the remaining 50% is due within 14 days of service completion.
- Any cancellation by the client after the advance payment has been received will result in a 20% non-refundable administrative fee.
- The Optometrist practice assumes no liability for pre-existing ocular conditions that were not disclosed prior to the examination. Standard medical disclaimers apply.
- All personal health data collected during the screening will be handled in accordance with the Sudanese Data Protection Guidelines and the professional confidentiality code of the Sudanese Optometric Association.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. In the event of unresolved disagreement, the matter shall be referred to the competent commercial court in Sudan Khartoum.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the advance payment has been received.
