Important: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Acceptance beyond the validity period requires written reconfirmation of pricing by Northwest Energy Consulting Ltd. All rates are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. The Petroleum Engineer's professional liability is governed by the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (PEGBC) Code of Ethics and the terms of the master service agreement referenced herein.
- 5.1 – This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and executed in accordance with the Master Service Agreement (MSA-2024-003) between the parties.
- 5.2 – The Petroleum Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of CAD $5,000,000 per occurrence, as required for engineering services in the Canada Vancouver region.
- 5.3 – All intellectual property, models, reports, and data generated under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full payment of the Quotation Estimate total.
- 5.4 – Any change in scope exceeding 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value shall require a formal Change Order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
- 5.5 – The Petroleum Engineer shall comply with all applicable federal and provincial regulations, including the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) guidelines, BC Energy Regulator (BCER) technical standards, and the British Columbia Environmental Management Act.
- 5.6 – Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, calculated from the due date until the date of actual payment, in accordance with the British Columbia Interest Act.
- 5.7 – This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Vancouver, BC, under the rules of the British Columbia Arbitration Institute.
The pricing in this Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide timely access to all historical well data, core samples, seismic volumes, and production records necessary for the Petroleum Engineer to perform the scoped work. The following items are excluded from this estimate: seismic data acquisition, laboratory core analysis beyond standard suites, third-party software procurement beyond those listed, and any remedial engineering work arising from pre-existing wellbore integrity issues. Should additional data or scope be required, a supplemental Quotation Estimate will be issued within five (5) business days of the request.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the scope, pricing, and terms set forth herein. The engagement of the Petroleum Engineer shall commence upon receipt of the initial mobilization payment.
