1. Scope of Work

The Petroleum Engineer engagement encompasses the following technical deliverables to be performed on-site and remotely in support of KPC's upstream operations in Kuwait, Kuwait City:

  • Comprehensive reservoir performance analysis and production optimization for the Burgan and Mina fields.
  • Wellbore integrity assessment and completion design review for a minimum of twelve (12) producing wells.
  • Development of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) feasibility studies incorporating thermal and chemical injection methodologies.
  • Preparation of monthly reservoir simulation reports using industry-standard software (Eclipse, tNavigator).
  • Technical due diligence support for capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and budget justification.
  • On-site supervision and technical advisory during well workover and stimulation operations.
  • Preparation of a final technical report summarizing all findings, recommendations, and future development strategies.

4. Terms & Conditions
  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision without prior notice.
  2. Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of Phase 3 deliverables, and 30% upon final acceptance of the technical report. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Al-Nakheel Energy & Engineering Solutions W.L.L., National Bank of Kuwait, Kuwait City.
  3. The Petroleum Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant industry experience, a professional engineering license, and demonstrated expertise in Middle Eastern carbonate and clastic reservoirs.
  4. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with Kuwaiti labor laws, HSE regulations, and KPC operational safety standards. The contractor shall provide all necessary personal protective equipment and maintain valid insurance coverage throughout the project duration in Kuwait, Kuwait City.
  5. Intellectual property: All reports, models, and data generated under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation upon full payment. The contractor retains the right to reference the project in general marketing materials without disclosing confidential technical data.
  6. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary information exchanged during the course of this project. This obligation shall survive the termination of the contract for a period of five (5) years.
  7. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or civil unrest in the State of Kuwait.
  8. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Kuwait Dispute Resolution Center in Kuwait, Kuwait City.
  9. This quotation does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
  10. All rates are quoted in Kuwaiti Dinars (KWD). No additional charges shall apply unless expressly agreed in writing by both parties.
5. Acceptance & Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Petroleum Engineer services in Kuwait, Kuwait City.
