- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, pricing may be adjusted to reflect current market rates, equipment costs, or availability of the Photographer.
- Payment Schedule: A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total estimated cost is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Photographer's date. The remaining fifty percent (50%) is due within fourteen (14) days of final image delivery.
- Payment Methods: Payments may be made via bank transfer (ACH), certified check, or major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). A 3% processing fee applies to credit card transactions.
- Location & Permits: All photography sessions will take place within the city limits of United States Chicago. If the client requests a location outside of Chicago proper (e.g., suburbs such as Evanston, Oak Park, or Naperville), additional travel fees of $0.75 per mile will apply. Any required filming or photography permits for public spaces in Chicago will be arranged by our studio at the cost listed above.
- Weather & Rescheduling: Given the variable weather conditions common in United States Chicago, one (1) complimentary reschedule is included if the session is affected by severe weather (high winds, heavy rain, or extreme cold below 20°F). The Photographer will notify the client no fewer than 24 hours in advance.
- Image Delivery: Final edited images will be delivered via a secure online gallery within ten (10) business days of the shoot date. The Photographer retains the right to use a limited selection of images for portfolio and marketing purposes unless a separate non-disclosure agreement is executed.
- Intellectual Property: All original, unedited RAW files remain the property of the Photographer and Lakeview Visual Arts & Photography Studio. The commercial usage license grants the client the rights specified in Line Item 7 above.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than seven (7) days before the scheduled session will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within seven (7) days will forfeit the deposit. No-shows are non-refundable.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts all terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate. The Photographer and Lakeview Visual Arts & Photography Studio are authorized to proceed with the services described herein in United States Chicago.
