3.1 This Quotation Estimate is a non-binding estimate of costs and does not constitute a formal contract until both parties execute a written Service Agreement referencing Quotation Estimate No. QEST-2025-0847.
3.2 All fees quoted in this Quotation Estimate are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are exclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current federal rate of 5% and Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) or Provincial Sales Tax (PST) as applicable in British Columbia, Canada.
3.3 The Physicist services described herein are to be performed in accordance with the professional standards of the Canadian Society for Physics and in compliance with all applicable federal and provincial regulations in Canada Vancouver, including occupational health and safety legislation under the Work Safety Act (British Columbia).
3.4 Payment terms: 40% deposit due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% due at the midpoint of the twelve-week engagement; 20% due upon final delivery of the technical report and completion of all deliverables. Invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of issue.
3.5 Any changes to the scope of Physicist services beyond what is outlined in this Quotation Estimate will require a written change order signed by both parties. Additional hours or services will be billed at the rates specified in Section 2 of this document.
3.6 The Physicist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall maintain full professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $5,000,000 CAD, valid throughout the duration of the engagement in Canada Vancouver.
3.7 All intellectual property, data, and documentation generated specifically for the client under this Quotation Estimate shall remain the sole property of Northwest Advanced Materials Inc. The Physicist and Pacific Northwest Physics Consulting Ltd. retain no rights to client-specific research outputs.
3.8 This Quotation Estimate is subject to the availability of the designated Physicist. In the event of unavailability due to illness or force majeure, a qualified substitute Physicist of equivalent credentials will be provided at no additional cost.
4. AcceptanceBy signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and estimated costs outlined herein for the engagement of a Physicist in Canada Vancouver. This signature constitutes a request to proceed with the formal Service Agreement.
