- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Plumber reserves the right to revise pricing due to fluctuations in material costs, labour availability, or changes in Auckland Council regulatory requirements.
- All works described in this Quotation Estimate will be carried out by a licensed Plumber holding a valid Plumbing Licence issued under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2006 (New Zealand). The Plumber will be fully insured with public liability coverage of no less than $20,000,000.
- Payment terms: A 30% deposit (NZD $2,218.35) is required to confirm the booking and secure the Plumber's schedule. The remaining 70% balance (NZD $5,176.15) is due upon completion of all works and acceptance by the client. Payment may be made by bank transfer, EFTPOS, or credit card. No cash payments will be accepted.
- All materials supplied by the Plumber carry a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Labour and workmanship are guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from the date of completion, in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand).
- The Plumber will comply with all applicable New Zealand Building Code standards, Auckland Council bylaws, and the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2006. All compliance certificates will be lodged with Auckland Council within five (5) working days of project completion.
- Access to the property must be provided between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The Plumber will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption to the household. Any works requiring after-hours access or weekend attendance will be subject to a 25% surcharge and must be agreed in writing prior to commencement.
- Should the Plumber, during the course of the works, discover additional defects or non-compliant installations not identified during the initial inspection, the Plumber will notify the client immediately and provide a supplementary Quotation Estimate before proceeding with any additional work. No extra work will be undertaken without the client's written approval.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include any structural repairs, electrical works, or landscaping restoration beyond the immediate plumbing work area. Any such additional works will be quoted separately by the relevant tradesperson.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the performance of the plumbing works will be resolved in accordance with the Disputes Standard of the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal. The Plumber encourages all parties to resolve matters amicably before pursuing formal dispute resolution.
- By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein. The Plumber will not commence any works until the deposit has been received and a signed copy of this document has been returned.
