Note: All rates quoted in this Quotation Estimate are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are fixed for the duration of the 12-month contract term. Any variation in the scope of the Police Officer's duties beyond those described in Section 2 will require a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate and mutual agreement prior to additional costs being incurred.

Payment for services rendered under this Quotation Estimate shall be made on a monthly basis. Invoices will be issued on the last working day of each calendar month and are payable within 20 business days of the invoice date via direct bank transfer to the account details provided on the invoice. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed under the New Zealand Commerce Act 1986. The Wellington City Council is requested to confirm acceptance of this Quotation Estimate within 30 days of the issue date to secure the availability of the designated Police Officer for the proposed commencement date of 1 August 2025.

  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability are subject to reconfirmation.
  2. The Police Officer engaged under this contract shall comply with all applicable New Zealand legislation, including the Police Act 1958, the Privacy Act 2020, the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and the Local Government Act 2002.
  3. Wellington Public Safety Contracting Ltd. reserves the right to substitute the assigned Police Officer with a suitably qualified replacement of equivalent rank and experience, provided 48 hours' written notice is given to the Wellington City Council.
  4. All operational data, incident reports, and personal information collected by the Police Officer during the course of duty in New Zealand Wellington shall be handled in strict accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the New Zealand Police Information Management Policy.
  5. This contract may be terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Wellington City Council shall be liable for all costs incurred up to and including the effective date of termination.
  6. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal Act 1945 or, where the amount in dispute exceeds $50,000, in the District Court of Wellington.
  7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by an authorised representative of the Wellington City Council and a written contract is executed by both parties.

By signing below, the Wellington City Council acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial obligations outlined herein for the deployment of a Police Officer in the New Zealand Wellington metropolitan area.
