4.1 This Quotation Estimate constitutes a formal offer by SecureGuard Professional Services (Pty) Ltd and does not constitute a binding contract until accepted in writing by the client and countersigned by both parties.
4.2 The Police Officer shall be bound by a strict code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, and the conditions of employment as stipulated under the South African Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997) and the Private Security Industry Act (Act 156 of 2001).
4.3 Payment terms: 50% of the monthly fee shall be due on the 1st of each month, and the remaining 50% on the 15th. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month as per the National Credit Act.
4.4 The client reserves the right to request the replacement of the Police Officer with reasonable notice (minimum 72 hours) should performance standards not be met, as defined in the service level agreement annexed to this Quotation Estimate.
4.5 This Quotation Estimate is specific to the operational area of South Africa Johannesburg. Any relocation of the Police Officer to a different metropolitan area or province shall require a revised Quotation Estimate and a supplementary agreement.
4.6 SecureGuard Professional Services (Pty) Ltd shall maintain comprehensive public liability insurance of no less than R 10,000,000 covering all Police Officer personnel deployed in South Africa Johannesburg.
4.7 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the rules of the South African Arbitration Foundation, with the seat of arbitration in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
