This Quotation Estimate stipulates the following payment schedule for the Professor's engagement in Canada Vancouver:

3.1 — A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total Quotation Estimate amount ($22,207.50 CAD) is due within ten (10) business days of acceptance of this document.

3.2 — Monthly invoices shall be issued on the first business day of each month for ongoing Professor services, payable within thirty (30) days of invoice date.

3.3 — The final balance, including any outstanding travel and third-party costs, shall be settled within fifteen (15) business days of the completion of all deliverables outlined in this Quotation Estimate.

3.4 — All payments shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the designated institutional account in Canada Vancouver. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as per the British Columbia Interest Act.

4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Professor's rates and availability in Canada Vancouver may be subject to revision.

4.2 The Professor reserves the right to decline or modify any portion of the engagement if the scope changes by more than 15% from what is described in this Quotation Estimate. Any such modification shall require a revised Quotation Estimate in writing.

4.3 All intellectual property, research findings, and publications generated under this engagement shall be governed by a separate Intellectual Property Agreement to be executed prior to the commencement of services in Canada Vancouver.

4.4 The Professor shall comply with all applicable federal and provincial regulations in Canada Vancouver, including but not limited to the Canada Labour Code, the British Columbia Employment Standards Act, and institutional research ethics policies.

4.5 Cancellation by the client after the deposit has been paid shall result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellation by the Professor for reasons other than force majeure shall result in a full refund of all monies received.

4.6 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The governing law for this document shall be the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Canada Vancouver.
