This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request received from the Ministry of Higher and University Education in the Democratic Republic of Congo for the engagement of a qualified Professor to deliver advanced academic instruction, supervise doctoral research, and lead curriculum development activities within the academic institutions of Kinshasa. The scope of this Quotation Estimate covers a full academic engagement period of twelve (12) months, commencing on 01 October 2025 and concluding on 30 September 2026, with the option of a six-month renewal subject to mutual agreement.
The Professor engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a minimum of a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in the relevant discipline, possess no fewer than ten (10) years of post-doctoral teaching and research experience, and demonstrate a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications, international conference presentations, and successful supervision of doctoral candidates. The engagement is specifically tailored to the academic and cultural context of DR Congo Kinshasa, ensuring that all instructional materials, research methodologies, and pedagogical approaches are adapted to the local university environment, the Congolese national curriculum standards, and the multilingual setting (French and Lingala) prevalent in Kinshasa's higher education institutions.

All amounts in this Quotation Estimate are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). Payment shall be made via international wire transfer to the designated bank account of the Professor or the hosting institution in Kinshasa, DR Congo. The payment schedule is structured as follows: a mobilization advance of 15 percent (USD 28,905.00) upon contract signature; monthly disbursements of the honorarium and allowances (Items 01, 02, 06, 07, and 08) on the first business day of each month; a lump-sum payment for curriculum development (Item 03) upon delivery and approval of each module; and a final settlement of all remaining balances within thirty (30) days of the engagement's conclusion. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5 percent per month, calculated from the due date.
This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate constitutes a binding agreement between the parties. The Professor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Democratic Republic of Congo, including immigration, tax, and labor provisions specific to Kinshasa. The hosting institution in DR Congo Kinshasa shall provide a dedicated office space, access to the university library and laboratories, and administrative support. Either party may terminate the engagement with sixty (60) days written notice. All intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the Professor and the hosting institution, as stipulated in the DR Congo national research policy. This Quotation Estimate does not include personal income tax obligations, which shall be the responsibility of the Professor in accordance with Congolese tax law.
By signing below, the authorized representative of the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of the Professor in DR Congo Kinshasa, and authorizes the commencement of the services as described herein.
