This Quotation Estimate is issued by the Académie des Sciences & Lettres de Paris in response to the formal request submitted by Dr. Élise Marchand on 28 May 2025. The purpose of this document is to provide a detailed and itemised cost breakdown for the professional services of Professor Henri Beaumont, a tenured Professor of Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, in connection with a collaborative research and teaching programme to be conducted in France Paris over the academic year 2025–2026.

Payment of the total amount stated in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three instalments: 40% upon signing of the service agreement, 40% upon completion of the laboratory supervision programme (Line Item 02), and the remaining 20% within 30 days of the final deliverable. All payments shall be made via bank transfer (virement bancaire) to the account of the Académie des Sciences & Lettres de Paris, BNP Paribas, IBAN: FR76 3000 4000 0100 0000 0000 000, BIC: BNPAFRPP. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate prescribed by Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code.
4. Terms and ConditionsGeneral Conditions Governing This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After 14 July 2025, the rates and terms herein may be subject to revision.
- All services described in this Quotation Estimate will be performed by Professor Henri Beaumont personally, in his capacity as a tenured Professor at the Académie des Sciences & Lettres de Paris, France.
- The Professor's engagement is governed by French law. Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris, France.
- Intellectual property generated during the course of the Professor's supervised research programme shall be jointly owned by the client and the Académie, as stipulated in a separate IP agreement to be executed prior to commencement of work.
- The Professor reserves the right to decline any request that conflicts with the ethical guidelines of the French National Research Agency (ANR) or the institutional code of conduct of the Académie.
- All personal data processed in connection with this Quotation Estimate shall be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés), under the supervision of the CNIL.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal service agreement must be executed in writing by both parties before any services commence.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to strikes, public health emergencies, or government-mandated closures in Paris, France, shall suspend the Professor's obligations without penalty to either party.
