This Quotation Estimate is issued in accordance with the academic procurement regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and pertains specifically to the recruitment and engagement of a Professor of Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences. The Professor shall be based at the Iranian National Research Council facility located in the Valiasr district of Iran Tehran and shall deliver the following services over a continuous twelve-month period commencing on 1 September 2025:
- Delivery of a minimum of 120 contact hours of graduate-level instruction in advanced computational methods, numerical analysis, and applied mathematical modeling.
- Supervision of no fewer than six (6) doctoral research candidates registered at the Iran Tehran campus, including weekly one-on-one advisory sessions and formal thesis review milestones.
- Co-authorship and publication of at least two (2) peer-reviewed research articles in internationally indexed journals during the engagement period.
- Participation in the Iran Tehran Annual Symposium on Computational Sciences, including a keynote address and a moderated panel discussion.
- Development of a new graduate curriculum module titled "Stochastic Optimization in Engineering Systems" to be integrated into the Iran Tehran master's programme by the end of the first semester.
- Mentorship of two (2) junior faculty members in research methodology and grant-writing strategies aligned with the National Science Foundation of Iran funding priorities.

All amounts are expressed in Iranian Rials (IRR) and are subject to the prevailing exchange-rate regulations of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the time of payment. This Quotation Estimate does not include Value Added Tax (VAT), as academic and research services rendered within Iran Tehran are exempt under Article 32 of the Iranian VAT Law.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and conditions are subject to revision without prior notice.
- Payment shall be made in four (4) equal quarterly instalments, due on the 5th business day of each quarter, via bank transfer to the account designated by the Professor at a licensed Iranian financial institution in Iran Tehran.
- The Professor shall be required to maintain a minimum on-site presence of five (5) days per week at the INRC Iran Tehran campus, with the option of one (1) remote working day per week for research purposes.
- Any extension of the engagement beyond the initial twelve-month term shall require a separate, updated Quotation Estimate and mutual written agreement between both parties.
- The Professor shall comply with all academic integrity policies, data-privacy regulations, and institutional bylaws of the Iranian National Research Council as applicable in Iran Tehran.
- Intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the Professor and the INRC, with publication rights governed by a separate IP agreement to be executed prior to the commencement of services.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal employment or consultancy agreement, drafted in accordance with Iranian labour and academic law, must be executed before any services commence.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent agreement shall be resolved through the academic arbitration board of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, seated in Iran Tehran.
By signing below, the authorized representative of the Iranian National Research Council acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms that the terms, conditions, and cost breakdown pertaining to the engagement of the Professor in Iran Tehran have been reviewed and are acceptable for the purpose of initiating the formal contracting process.
