All amounts stated in this Quotation Estimate are denominated in Japanese Yen (JPY) and are inclusive of all applicable consumption tax (10%) as mandated by the National Tax Agency of Japan. Payment shall be structured as follows:
- Advance Payment (50%): JPY 6,803,600 – Due within fourteen (14) calendar days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, prior to the Professor's departure from Italy.
- Mid-Term Payment (30%): JPY 4,082,160 – Due upon the Professor's arrival in Japan Osaka and commencement of the engagement period.
- Final Payment (20%): JPY 2,721,440 – Due within ten (10) business days following the Professor's departure from Japan Osaka and submission of the final activity report.
Payments shall be made via bank transfer to the following account: Osaka Academic Consulting Group Co., Ltd., Mizuho Bank, Umeda Branch, Account No. 214-587-903, SWIFT Code: MHCBJTJT.
4. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates, particularly accommodation and airfare, are subject to revision without prior notice.
- The Professor's engagement is contingent upon the successful issuance of a Specialized Activity Visa by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan. In the event of visa denial, all advance payments shall be refunded in full within twenty-one (21) business days, less any non-recoverable third-party fees.
- Osaka Academic Consulting Group Co., Ltd. shall coordinate all logistics within Japan Osaka, including but not limited to accommodation, local transportation, visa processing, and academic scheduling. The client institution (Osaka Metropolitan University) is responsible for providing laboratory access, research materials, and on-campus facilities.
- Any changes to the scope of services, extension of the Professor's stay beyond twelve weeks, or modification of the academic program must be agreed upon in writing by both parties and will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The definitive engagement contract shall be executed separately in accordance with Japanese commercial law.
- All intellectual property generated during the Professor's tenure in Japan Osaka shall be governed by a separate Intellectual Property Agreement to be executed prior to the commencement of the engagement.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Osaka, Japan, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. This acceptance authorizes Osaka Academic Consulting Group Co., Ltd. to proceed with all arrangements for the Professor's engagement in Japan Osaka.
