This Quotation Estimate is issued by the undersigned Professor in response to the formal request for proposal submitted by Meridian Industrial Solutions Sdn. Bhd. The scope of work encompasses a comprehensive engagement of the Professor to deliver academic consultancy, technical research oversight, and executive training programmes within the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area, Malaysia. All services shall be rendered in accordance with the professional standards upheld by the Malaysian Academy of Sciences and the relevant regulatory frameworks of the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.

- A non-refundable deposit of 30% (RM 24,486.00) of the total Quotation Estimate amount shall be payable within seven (7) working days of the client’s written acceptance of this document.
- The remaining 70% (RM 57,134.00) shall be payable in two equal instalments: 50% upon completion of the mid-project milestone (end of Week 4) and 50% upon final delivery of all reports, training materials, and the closing workshop in Kuala Lumpur.
- All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Professor’s designated account at Maybank Berhad, Kuala Lumpur branch. Invoices shall be issued in accordance with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) guidelines.
- Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 1.5% per month, calculated on the outstanding balance, in compliance with Malaysian commercial law.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Professor reserves the right to revise the pricing due to changes in availability, travel costs, or applicable Malaysian tax regulations.
- All services described herein shall be performed by the undersigned Professor personally. Delegation to junior academic staff or postgraduate researchers is not permitted without prior written consent from the client.
- The Professor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Malaysia, including but not limited to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), the Employment Act 1955 (where applicable to on-site staff interactions), and the Companies Act 2016.
- Any changes to the scope of work, additional sessions, or extended timelines must be documented in a formal Variation Order signed by both parties before execution. Additional charges will be calculated at the unit rates specified in Section 2 of this Quotation Estimate.
- The Professor shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of RM 1,000,000 throughout the duration of the engagement in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation under the rules of the Malaysian Mediation Centre, Kuala Lumpur, and failing that, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
- All deliverables, including reports, training materials, and published papers, shall be provided in both English and Bahasa Malaysia upon the client’s request, at no additional cost.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon full execution by both the Professor and the authorised representative of the client.
