This Quotation Estimate is formally issued to provide a comprehensive and itemized financial breakdown for the engagement of a Professor of Applied Economics and International Trade to deliver a series of academic services at the Yangon International Business School. The scope of work described herein is specifically tailored to the academic and professional requirements of institutions operating in Myanmar Yangon, taking into consideration local regulatory frameworks, institutional standards, and the unique educational landscape of the region. The Professor engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following services over a period of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 September 2025 and concluding on 31 August 2026. All services shall be rendered on the premises of the client institution in Myanmar Yangon unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Note: All monetary figures in this Quotation Estimate are quoted in US Dollars (USD). Payment may be made in equivalent Myanmar Kyat (MMK) at the Central Bank of Myanmar's official exchange rate prevailing on the date of each invoice. The Professor's compensation is subject to withholding tax as mandated by the Myanmar Revenue Department for services rendered in Myanmar Yangon.
  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision without prior notice.
  2. Payment shall be made in quarterly installments of 25% each, due within fifteen (15) business days of the invoice date. The first installment is due upon execution of the engagement contract.
  3. The Professor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, including but not limited to the Foreign Workers Management Law and the Education Law as enforced in Myanmar Yangon.
  4. Any additional services beyond the scope outlined in Section 2 of this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional fee, to be agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement.
  5. The client institution in Myanmar Yangon shall provide the Professor with a suitable workspace, access to the institutional library, and all necessary teaching aids and technology (projector, whiteboard, internet connectivity).
  6. Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Professor shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date, plus a cancellation fee of 10% of the remaining contract value.
  7. All intellectual property generated by the Professor during the course of this engagement, including lecture notes, research outputs, and curriculum materials, shall be jointly owned by the Professor and the client institution, with publication rights shared equally.
  8. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement contract shall be resolved through mediation in Yangon, Myanmar, in accordance with the Myanmar Arbitration Law. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the Yangon District Court.
  9. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until both parties have signed and sealed the formal engagement agreement. It is intended solely for the purpose of financial planning and institutional budget approval.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth in this Quotation Estimate for the Professor engagement in Myanmar Yangon.
